Reporting to the Manager of Website
operations, this person will be responsible for building and maintaining
web-based applications usable by internal staff and public viewers to the web
site. The successful Individual will be responsible for:
- Modifying the CIAS website as
organizational demands require
- Development and maintenance of web based
applications (written in ASP)
- Co-ordinating with internal departments to
determine their web-based needs.
- Working independently on projects through
completion.
The successful candidate must possess the
following experience or skills:
- 3-4 years ASP programming experience.
- In depth knowledge of HTML
- Experience with web-based databases
- Experience with FrontPage, Dream weaver
and/or other HTML editor.
- Java and JavaScript experience
The
following skills, although not required will be beneficial:
- Experience with eCommerce based web
systems
- Macromedia Flash Development skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with and access to Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator and/or other design tools
- Photography skills
The successful individual must be able to
work independently on a project with no supervision but must meet strict
deadlines as needed. Time requirements for this position are a minimum of
5-6 hours per week between January and April, 3-4 hours per week between April
and October and minimal requirements between October and January. The
requirements during air-show weekend are flexible but may consist of “on-call”
time to ensure our systems are functioning normally during peak time.
