MEDIA DAY
Thursday, August 28, 2003
Toronto Pearson International Airport

 

What: The Canadian International Air Show will be holding a Media Day
at Piedmont Hawthorne (Shell Aerocentre) offering media the opportunity to interview performing pilots and crews.

Timing of the events is as follows:

• 11:00 am Arrival of the CF Snowbird Team
• 11:30 - 13:00 Over the wing interviews with the members of the Snowbird team
• 11:00 Arrival of the CT 155 Hawk
• 12:00 Interviews with the CT155 Hawk and BAE Systems
• 14:00 Conclusion of media day

* Note: Media will be permitted in the cockpits of Snowbird Team. It is important to wear comfortable clothing. No open toed shoes are allowed. Please note Media should arrive at 10:00 a.m. to be cleared through security. Please RSVP to the office prior to 11:00 am on August 27th, 2003 if you are attending. This is a mandatory process that will require your co-operation.

Where: Piedmont Hawthorne (Shell Aerocenter)
2450 Derry Road East, Mississauga
Off Derry Road and through the intersection at Airport Road and 3 sets of lights past Airport Road (not including Airport Rd)
Turn Left on Vanguard Road ( map available through our office)
 
When: Thursday August 29, 2003
Approximately 11am to 1400
Arrival Time for Security Clearance: 10:00 a.m.
Juice, donuts and water will be provided
(Times to be confirmed closer to event, please check with office)

Please note, only Modern Military aircraft are stationed at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Civilian aircraft will not be in attendance as they are located at Toronto City Centre Airport.
